Recessed Wall Paneled, Flexible Stair Kit

This is our fourth generation of extra deep recessed wainscoting kit specifically made for staircase applications for kits sold since 2004. In order to keep cost down, we use two different materials. A flexible polyurethane Wainscot Cap and the top rail, bottom rail and wainscot shoe are made from white flexible cellular PVC. The stiles are made from primed MDF just like the standard rigid ones are. The stiles run up and down, so they do not need to flex, take note that we included two 8 ft MDF Stiles in our kit that can make 4 to 6 stiles, depending on the desired height. They need to be shaped according to the rise on the staircase on site.

The Recessed Wall Paneled Flexible Stair Kit is an 8 ft kit built to follow curved walls and the rake of a staircase. As our fourth generation of extra-deep recessed stair wainscoting, it uses two materials to balance flexibility and cost: a flexible polyurethane wainscot cap, with the top rail, bottom rail, and shoe molded from white flexible cellular PVC. The stiles are primed MDF, the same rigid stock used in our standard kits, since they run vertically and do not need to flex. The kit includes two 8 ft MDF stiles that yield four to six finished stiles depending on the height you need. Each stile is shaped on site to match the rise of your staircase for a clean, custom fit.
