Overview

This newel post features a classic and polished design. The corners of the newel are detailed. The newel is topped with a peaked cap. The sides of the cap are detailed with a convex moulding band. The newel post serves to anchor the balustrade. It is also reinforced at the core and it lends structural integrity to the entire balustrade system. This detailed newel is crafted in urethane, an excellent modern alternative to traditional materials like wood and stone. Urethane withstands moisture damage while remaining classic in appearance. This high-density material is non-porous and impervious to peeling, cracking and decay.
